Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist -Cranford, NJ (Night Shift)
Job Type: Full Time
Shifts: Nights (7pm - 3am)
Position Summary:
Perform routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Responsible for the operation of the laboratory.
Perform technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology.
Report test results following lab protocols alerting providers and/or nurses about critical results.
Ensure quality control in collecting specimens, ensure appropriate sampling, and maintain accurate record keeping.
Education and Experience:
Associate (technician) or bachelor's degree (technologist) in a related field required
At least one year of medical laboratory experience required
Certification and Licensure:
MLT, ASCP, CPT or AMT certification preferred
